About Our Client
My client is a custom manufacturer that specializes in creating custom fixtures, furniture and graphics. They work with large, global brands like Nike, Walmart, and Banana Republic and are rapidly expanding their headcount to tackle recent growth.This team does all of their manufacturing in house, specifically sheet metal, tubing, wiring, powder coating, welding assembly, and even wood operations.
Job Description- Utilize background in metal fabrication (welding, robotic welding, sheet metal fabrication) to troubleshoot production issues on the floor
- Design Fixtures and Jigs in Solid-Works
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, seeking ways to be more efficient and optimize cost savings opportunities
- Hand's On Role - lead by example
- Identify production problems and present creative solutions to Senior Leadership
- Troubleshoot machinery programming - do not need to be an expert.
- Communicate with customers and regularly perform DFMA

The Successful Applicant- 5Y+ Experience in a metal fabrication environment (Welding, Sheet Metal, Press Brake Exp Preferred)
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks
- Associates Degree or Higher Required
- "Hands On" Mentality, not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Robotic Welding Experience highly preferred, not required.
- Experience with fixture design, Jig creation, and DFMA
- GD&T Experience
