Assistant Nursing Home Administrator
We are partnering with a respected nursing home in New Orleans, LA, seeking a qualified Assistant Nursing Home Administrator to support the facilitys leadership team. This position is ideal for an experienced healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and knowledge of long-term care regulations.The Assistant Administrator will assist the Nursing Home Administrator in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality care for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursing Home Administrator in the daily management of the facility to ensure quality resident care and efficient operations.
- Help oversee compliance with state and federal regulations, including CMS and LDH requirements.
- Support department heads and staff in managing clinical and administrative functions.
- Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Assist in resolving resident and family concerns and ensure a positive living environment for residents.
- Contribute to the facilitys quality assurance and improvement programs.
- Help prepare for state and federal inspections and ensure the facility meets all regulatory standards.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in the state of Louisiana required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably within a long-term care or nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, CMS, and LDH standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in financial management and administrative operations in a healthcare setting.
Hourly Pay Range:
- $40 to $55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
