Accounts Receivable Clerk

You will also be expected to work closely with various teams, including sales, customer service, and the National Call Center.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately post customer payments in a timely manner.
• Conduct research to reconcile any account discrepancies.
• Collaborate with retailers, sales teams, and warehouse drivers to collect outstanding balances.
• Ensure the maintenance of detailed notes related to accounts within a specific system.
• Handle a high volume of customer and driver calls effectively.
• Resolve discrepancies in customer accounts with a keen attention to detail.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform duties.
• Perform the scanning of payments into the bank.
• Independently handle tasks without supervision and work as part of a team.
• Maintain high-quality customer service and foster good working relationships.
• Escalate situations to the Accounts Receivable Manager as needed. • Possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships
• Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal, for clear and concise information sharing
• Proven experience in Sales, with an ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, for data management and document creation
• Experience in Payment Processing, ensuring timely and accurate handling of payments
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, collections, and reporting
• Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook for detail oriented communication
• Supervising experience, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Skilled in Scanning and organizing documents for easy access and retrieval
• Understanding of Financial Notes and their implications on account status
• Experience with Video conferencing tools for effective remote communication
• Strong Research and Analysis skills, with the ability to dig deep into account histories
• Experience in managing Customer Accounts, including updates, queries, and dispute resolution
• Prior work in a Call Center environment, demonstrating an ability to handle high call volumes
• Willingness to work Onsite, as required by the company
• Familiarity with using Templates for document creation and standardization
• Ability to Resolve Discrepancies in accounts, ensuring accurate financial records
• Experience in handling Account Discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
• Knowledge of Retailer accounts, and the specific requirements associated with them
• Proven ability to Collect Outstanding payments, enhancing company cash flow.
