Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CPA track is required.
- MBA is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant tax experience, with a strong focus on S-Corps and partnerships.
- Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:
- Manage and review federal and state tax returns for S-Corporations and partnerships, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
- Lead tax planning and advisory services for clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.
- Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
- Conduct tax research and provide technical expertise on complex tax matters, including restructuring and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax accounting under GAAP.
- Stay current with changes in tax law and regulations, advising clients and internal teams on how these changes impact their tax strategies.
- Develop and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
