Controller

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial industry based in Garden City, New York, United States. As a Controller, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity within the organization. Your role will involve processing payable and receivable accounts, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports while ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of bank statements and monitoring of cash flow
• Handling of payroll processing and related documentation
• Maintenance and update of the general ledger
• Assistance in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Processing of accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner
• Preparation of financial reports and summaries as required
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
• Assistance with audits and tax preparations
• Maintenance of accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation of transactions
• Performance of other related duties as assigned. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions efficiently
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is essential
• Knowledge in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial
• Auditing skills are a must-have
• Experience in Budget Processes is required
