Job Title: Controls Operations Analyst
Division: BSS - UCO
Reports To: As per Beazley’s organisation chart

Key Relationships: Underwriting Management, Underwriters, Underwriting Assistants, Policy Issuers, Centralized Processing, other staff and Compliance

Job Summary: To assist teams within Beazley that US Operations supports in maintaining efficient and compliant underwriting processes, while assuring the highest quality of business documents for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality review of policies, binders, revised binders, mid-term endorsements, and/or submissions, utilizing applications and support underwriting documentation.
  • Perform assigned control monitoring and reporting tasks, at direction of the Manager, Controls Operations.
  • Build effective working relationships with other team members.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with documented procedures and comply with established standards for timeliness, quality, professionalism and accuracy.
  • Consistently meet service level agreements set by business teams.
  • Manage daily tasks to ensure business needs are consistently met.
  • Daily/weekly/monthly tracking of accuracy results through Excel-based or other methods of reporting.

Knowledge & Experience
  • Administrative experience, preferably within the insurance sector
  • 1-2 years of experience in an audit or quality control space
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual’s location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $77,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.
