Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Overview:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Demonstrate a passion for comprehensive and patient centered psychiatric care
- Demonstrate a record of leading clinical change
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency, strategic development, understanding of medical practice operations, including leading a first-rate clinical practice
- Demonstrate excellent supervisory, managerial, and leadership skills, including, but not limited to, team cohesion, excellent patient care and experience, and effective fiscal management of the operation
- Support CMO and Chief of Psychiatry in clinical and administrative services, promote quality initiatives across the Avance Care footprint
- Drive a culture of clinical standardization and organizational development
- Build teams, collaborate, establish responsibilities and accountability, lead through partnership
- Ability to lead team(s) to grow the psychiatry practice to financial independence
- Have a working knowledge of the economics of running a practice
- Experience with virtual health delivery and operations
- Accomplishes all tasks as assigned or as they become necessary
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician
- Practicing Physician with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as professional journals, safety rules, procedure manuals, and government regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, effectively
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clinic staff, providers, clients, customers, and the general publications
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to think logically in order to troubleshoot, analyze situations, make independent decisions and delegate responsibility and duties
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web- based programs
- Possess strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adheres to Avance Care’s Policy and Procedures
