We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Central, Kentucky. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting and financial tasks. The role involves managing client billing operations, preparing financial statements, and maintaining client records among other duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling client-specific billing operations and syndicate transactions
• Resolving billing discrepancies and misapplied cash transactions
• Preparing and issuing invoices and account statements
• Maintaining updated client records and coordinating with other departments for integrated billing operations
• Preparing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Identifying and resolving any accounting discrepancies
• Ensuring compliance with all accounting and financial regulations
• Assisting in the implementation of new billing processes
• Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in managing the General Ledger
• Ability to make Journal Entries with accuracy
• Understanding of Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software
• Experience with QuickBooks software
