As the Social Worker on the team, you will play a key role in behavior management and crisis intervention, using your skills to de-escalate challenging situations and provide immediate support when necessary. You will have the opportunity to working closely with a diverse team of professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to children and their families.

Your responsibilities will include managing case coordination, documenting mental health notes and care plans, and ensuring timely communication across all parties involved.

ABOUT MARIN WRAPAROUND

The Marin Wraparound program supports Marin County children and adolescents in the Child Welfare, Probation, and Mental Health systems who are transitioning from or at risk of entering out-of-home care or juvenile hall. The program serves youth aged 6-18 with the primary goal at keeping youth in family-like settings.

Team members work with children and families providing services almost exclusively in the community: in families’ homes, schools, other community locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Child and Family Planning Meetings, handling preparation, attendance coordination, facilitation, and timely distribution of notes
  • Collaborate with county and community partners, such as social workers, probation officers, therapists, psychiatrists, and teachers
  • Thoroughly document mental health notes, Family Team Meeting notes, Wrap Action Plan, incident reports, and other necessary documentation
  • Intervene in clients' behavior management programs and provide crisis management as required
  • Manage case coordination and care, ensuring comprehensive support
  • Attend team meetings, weekly trainings, individual and group supervision
  • Adhere to clinical best practices and complete clinical documentation, assessments, and treatment planning
  • Participate in emergency on-call response once every quarter
  • Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as needed

Qualifications:

REQUIRED
  • Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling
  • Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekend hours as needed
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
PREFERRED
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Experience working with children in out-of-home care
  • Experience implementing family-focused wraparound services

Schedule:

  • Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • 1 week availability for on-call emergency response, once every quarter
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, scheduled ahead of time

Benefits:

  • Starting at $75,000 - $89,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
  • Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam
  • Salary increases each year
