The Accounting Liaison is a vital member of the team who works closely with leadership and consulting staff to ensure that invoices are paid promptly for consulting work delivered to clients. As part of the team, the candidate will be primarily responsible for billing and collection efforts that are critical to the companys profitability.The employee will have the opportunity to interact with consultants and executive staff to identify billing opportunities as well as initiate and improve financial processes and activities. In addition to invoicing, the Accounting Liaison will be responsible for maintaining, and operating databases and also ensures that data is correctly stored and retrieved.
They will also assist team with compliance related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for client billing, accounts receivable collection, new business reporting, report distribution, and collaboration with other staff members to make financial information readily available.
Sets up client accounts and billing parameters according to contract details
Manages the administrative details of client accounts such as changes in fees, services provided, mailing address, etc.
Communicates effectively and articulately (both written and verbal) Works well with direction to meet objectives demonstrating a strong sense of project ownership.
The Liaison will provide assistance with compliance related activities and database maintenance.
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or business-related field or 2+ years of relevant work experience
Experience in accounts receivable/billings, preferably within a service-oriented environment.
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
