Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect against cyber threats.
• Manage and support LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks across multiple locations.
• Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure system integrity.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement scalable network solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Manage user access, permissions, and configurations in accordance with company policies.
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests promptly.
• Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network needs and recommend upgrades.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with enterprise network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Ubiquiti.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios).
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for network automation.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
