Tax-Senior Public

The successful candidate will also demonstrate proficiency with various tax software and show a strong work ethic with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Review tax returns for businesses, trusts, and individuals ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
• Conduct research on various income tax issues and provide appropriate solutions
• Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional manner
• Utilize CCH ProSystem fx or Axcess tax software, ProSystem fx Engagement, BNA Income Tax Planner, and common office applications for tax planning and compliance
• Manage multiple projects and requests, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
• Display strong attention to detail in reviewing business, individual, and trust income tax returns with intermediate to complex tax profiles
• Show a deep understanding of Corporate taxes and S-corp taxes
• Leverage knowledge of public accounting, public accounting audit, and public accounting tax in performing job functions
• Use skills in income tax audits and assurance services to ensure compliance and accuracy in tax returns
• Work towards CPA certification if not already certified.

• Proficiency in CCH ProSystem fx for both Tax Compliance and Tax Planning
• Minimum of three years of experience in Public Accounting
• Familiarity with Public Accounting Audit and Public Accounting Tax
• Experience with Income Tax Audits
• Knowledge of Assurance Services
• Must hold a CPA certification or be CPA Eligible
• Experience working in a CPA Firm or on a CPA Track is a plus
