The Counselor/Clinician will play a critical role in supporting caregivers by providing mental health resources, training, and expertise. This position does not involve direct counseling of employees but instead works collaboratively with leaders and caregivers to promote and implement best mental health practices.The ideal candidate will be a credentialed and experienced professional with exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering webinars, enhancing training materials, and traveling as required.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Provide direct mental health consultation support to CCA chaplains in caring for employees.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on mental health, providing guidance and resources to caregivers.
- Develop and deliver training programs for caregivers on mental health topics.
- Update and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) with relevant mental health content.
- Conduct webinars and in-person training sessions for caregivers and leaders.
- Collaborate with caregivers to develop personalized mental wellness plans for employees.
- Travel as needed to provide on-site training and support to clients.
- Manage an administrative assistant responsible for organizing a vetted referral network for caregivers.
- Provide client-facing support to ensure understanding of available mental health resources.
- Act as a liaison between caregivers and mental health resources, offering expert advice and support.
- Consult on potential emotional and psychological needs alongside chaplains, providing guidance on complex cases.
- Serve as a resource for managing mental and emotional health struggles, including depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, and stress at the strategic and consultation level
- Conduct training sessions for chaplains and company leadership on mental health awareness, wellness strategies, and intervention techniques.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external mental health providers to offer a broad range of resources.
- Assist in creating and implementing mental health policies and procedures within CCA and client companies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential CCA documentation as required, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to enhance well-being initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid licensure or certification in a relevant mental health discipline (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, preferably in a workplace setting or in collaboration with spiritual care providers.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues, including crisis intervention, trauma, and counseling.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and relevant technology.
- Ability to travel as needed for on-site training and support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor administrative staff.
- Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with chaplains, integrating spiritual care with mental health services.
- Familiarity with diverse cultural backgrounds and ability to engage effectively with individuals from different walks of life.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Corporate Chaplains of America and Christian ministry and annual affirmation documents.
- Experience working in a non-profit or faith-based organization.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual training tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of caregivers and leaders.
- Strong technology skills, both software and hardware.
- Experience providing mental health services in corporate or business environments.
- Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in served communities) are a plus.
- Commitment to faith and values, specifically as a follower of Jesus.
This role involves a combination of office-based work, virtual consultations, and occasional onsite visits to companies served by CCA. Some travel may be required depending on the needs of the chaplains and their companies.
