Responsibilities:
- Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned.
- Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
- Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns.
- Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
- Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition.
- Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent, required.
Skills:
- Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere
Experience:
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferred
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- Weight requirement - Must be able to lift 40 lbs. independently.
- Must be able to see, stand on feet for 8 hours, hear, walk, talk, and care of oneself with little or no difficulty.
