Supply Chain Manager, Amazon-Freight LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Dispatch & Disruptions Team - Amazon
At Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload, we're seeking a Supply Chain Manager to elevate the service experience for our transportation partners. As we continue advancing our transportation and logistics capabilities, we're seeking a leader to enhance our network disruption management practices and drive meaningful improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional, and technology-enabled projects and programs. This role requires scoping initiatives, developing streamlined processes, creating detailed project plans, coordinating execution, and communicating progress to senior leaders.
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the end-to-end experience for our transportation partners within our logistics network. Leading a team of dedicated associates, you'll be directly responsible for driving the daily execution of inbound freight transportation operations into our logistics infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the Dispatch and Disruption Team through daily execution and cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.Hire and develop a team responsible for executing and improving inbound freight performance, and mitigating disruptions within our Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload network.
Identify the root causes behind operational challenges, develop process enhancements, uncover new opportunities, and present your findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
Partner with stakeholder teams to build out a roadmap of data and technology solutions to enable your team’s success.
About the team
In this role, the Supply Chain Manager will be on the Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload (AF LTL) Dispatch & Disruption Team. AF LTL is a rapidly growing transportation start-up within Amazon. Our vision is to build a profitable, commercial LTL service that drives the Amazon flywheel and delights shippers with the most reliable, convenient, transparent and competitively priced service in the industry.- 2+ years of program or project management experience- 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 2+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in team management- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
