Slip Robotics is looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Quality to lead our quality assurance and quality control initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a comprehensive quality management system that ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability as we continue to innovate in the robotics space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a quality assurance strategy that aligns with the overall goals of Slip Robotics, focusing on continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Quality Management Systems: Establish, maintain, and optimize robust quality management processes and procedures compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Product Inspection: Oversee inspection and testing processes, ensuring all products meet established quality standards before delivery.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Manage investigations of product non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate root causes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into all aspects of product development and production.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance quality awareness and compliance among all employees.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor quality KPIs to drive performance improvements and report on quality performance to executive leadership.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of experience in quality assurance/management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or technology environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) are highly desirable.

Skills: Deep understanding of quality management systems and methodologies. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques.

Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing quality teams. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex quality concepts clearly.

Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement forward-thinking quality strategies that drive organizational success.
