Job Description

The Project Development Manager (WECC) will be responsible for:

  • Managing and executing the development of utility scale renewable energy projects from greenfield to COD
  • Collaborate with engineering team and external consultants to evaluate site layouts and constraints, technology options, schedule implications, interconnection applications and studies
  • Direct and conduct due diligence on development-stage project and portfolio acquisitions, including comparison and prioritisation of multiple opportunities based on common siting, permitting, interconnection, power-marketing and other project metrics
  • Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns
  • Manage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement efforts
  • Manage occasional permitting activities with support from other team members
  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses

The Successful Applicant

The Project Development Manager (WECC) will have
  • Minimum of (4) year's experience in renewable energy industry with full life-cycle development
  • Direct experience with utility scale solar, storage or wind projects in the US.
  • Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictions
  • Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects
  • Bachelor's degree is required

What's on Offer

The Project Development Manager (WECC) will be eligible for

$140,000 - $170,000 base salary

Annual bonuses + project milestone bonuses
