We are offering a contract to employment opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role primarily involves administrative work for our HR department; supporting with new employee onboarding and employee record maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist various branches with their hiring and onboarding processes
- Conduct thorough background checks and reference checks for potential hires
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and word documents related to HR functions
- Handle employee relations issues and inquiries
- Conduct benefits administration tasks
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all HR-related data
- A minimum of 1 year experience in an HR role, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Strong understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
