Receptionist/Office Assistant
Overview:
LMI has an immediate need for a Receptionist/Office Assistant for our Colorado Springs office. The Receptionist/Office Assistant provides support to the Security department and office by greeting and processing/checking-in of all visitors, answering incoming calls, issuing credentials and access badges.This includes creating and issuing photo ID and access control badges to LMI visitors. Day to day duties will be managed by the FSO while reporting to the Vice President, Security.
This is a full-time position. The Receptionist/Security Assistant is expected to have the reception desk open and operating promptly at 8:00 a.m. and throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. Relief coverage will be provided for a 30-minute lunch, as well as morning and afternoon breaks of 15 minutes each.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in customers and guests into LMI visitor registration system.
- Create and issue photo ID and access control badges to LMI visitors.
- Issue temporary security badges to employees as needed.
- Answer all incoming calls in a timely and courteous manner.
- Perform routine administrative tasks to support the regular operations of the office including mail distribution, generating administrative department correspondence, and materials inventory and supplies maintenance.
- Coordinate with Building Management to ensure office is properly maintained.
- Determine purpose of call and assist the caller in locating appropriate employees via the paging and voice mail systems.
- Assist SSM with security related duties such as end of day checks and other basic security checks.
- Help organize and assist with the scheduling of conference and meeting rooms.
- Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
- Ensure reception area is neat, organized, and clear of non-company related books, magazines, and materials.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Perform all other tasks as directed by the Vice President, Security.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
- Candidate must have excellent telephone etiquette with ability to interact with all levels of employees, clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner and with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one year of professional experience as a receptionist

Target salary range: $30,000 - 40,000.
