Tax Administrative Assistant
Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Administrative Assistant to join our Boston team! This in-office role plays a key part in ensuring smooth office operations, with a primary focus on mail management and departmental support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
- Candidates must work on-site in our Boston office, no ability to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently
- Maintain an organized and well-functioning production room
- Track and log all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate records
- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries via email, phone, or in person
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Learn and adapt to new software and mailing procedures with provided training
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for in-office operations
- Availability for overtime during peak periods
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a team environment
- Must be willing to work on-site in our Boston office

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
