Database Administrator I - Baltimore

Overview:

Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a Database Administrator I career opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Capabilities:

• Maintain database integrity, security, availability and compliance with business processes throughout the life cycle
• Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring
• Evaluate and recommend database management system products
• Perform database and application server administration. Organize and format data for efficient query and storage
• Run SQL agent jobs for MSSQL and be familiar with installing software on Linux platforms

Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional database engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $110K-$120K /year
