Dignity Health Medical Foundation is an affiliate of Dignity Health - one of the largest health systems in the nation - with hospitals and care centers in California Arizona and Nevada.Today Dignity Health Medical Foundation works hand-in-hand with physicians and providers throughout California to provide comprehensive health care services to the many communities we serve. Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years in ambulatory physician practice setting required
- Current Medical Assistant Certification through one of the agencies approved by DHMF (must be certified through AMT, AAMA, CCBMA, or NCCT)
- Current American Heart Association issued Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Language Skills: Fluent English required.
- Must be able to speak clearly and have the ability to hear students in a one on one and classroom setting.
- Ability to present information in a clear and concise format to various audience levels in classroom.
- Strongly preferred MAs with Phlebotomy Certification; administration of inhaled medication training and PPD Skin Test Reading and documentation training.
- Education or precepting experience preferred.
- Multi-language skills preferred.
- Knowledge of instructional skills and adult learning theory educational techniques and methodologies.
