Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and deploy the strategic vision for effective development of the infrastructure required to integrate, validate, test, characterize, and qualify new products and technology.
  • Define test development strategies for new products and technology, including toolsets, and technical capabilities roadmap.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes related to amplifier and hybrid circuit assembly. Emphasis on Die bonding, wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, ceramic and soft substrate integration, chip and wire assembly, hybrid microcircuits, thin and thick film assembly.
  • Coordinate Engineering and Manufacturing Test Resources to ensure alignment with multiple concurrent program schedules.
  • Ownership for decisions involving all aspects of development test engineering process, including day-to-day issues concerning status and progress.
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans and analysis of test results.
  • Ensure new product development plans employ state-of-the-art Design-for-Test and Design-for-Manufacturing techniques.
  • Support company resource loading, cost estimating, and project planning in support of achieving revenue and profitability goals. Including establishing the budget for labor, capital, and maintenance for the product development team.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in product development from design through qualification phase; leadership experience, team building / development, and mentoring of others; specifically in the domain of Test or Product Engineering.
  • Bachelors Degree: Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management. Minimum six (6) years of experience in field. OR Masters Degree: Minimum two (2) years of experience in people management. Minimum six (6) years of experience in field.
  • Hands-on familiarity with multiple industry standard test platforms (e.g. LabView).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's degree) with 15 years of experience.
  • Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering ( Master's degree) with 10 years of experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $133,567 - $170,149 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
