Quality Technician
A Quality Technician is needed in the El Segundo, CA area for one of the world's largest cosmetics company, with activities spanning skin care, sun protection, make-up, perfume, hair care and hair color. The Quality Technician ensures product compliance by conducting detailed inspections, reporting findings, and supporting regulatory requirements while maintaining quality standards and organization in the workroom.

responsibilities:
- Inspect products from various vendors for quality compliance.
- Conduct detailed reviews of artwork, color, and perform necessary testing.
- Create reports based on inspection results.
- Organize and maintain the quality workroom to manage incoming product flow.
- Provide technical support to production units, outside vendors, and quality laboratories.
- Ensure compliance with Quality System and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO).
Skills:
- Experience with FDA and ISO compliance, including SOPs, auditing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of statistical sampling and testing of packaging components, bulk materials, and finished goods.
- Preferred experience in color matching for quality control.
Education: Bachelor Degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience in Manufacturing with strong emphasis in quality.
