Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Electronics industry,. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing various accounts payable functions, processing invoices, resolving accounting discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise customer credit records.
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and undertake necessary actions.
• Manage data entry tasks and handle office machines operations.
• Prepare and issue manual checks as required.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies by contacting vendors.
• Prepare basic excel spreadsheets and perform routine clerical matching duties.
• Handle incoming phone calls related to accounts payable transactions and resolve issues.
• Conduct research and resolve unmatched invoices problems.
• Code transactions, audit expense reports, and process vouchers
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)
• Experience with check runs and coding invoices
• Demonstrated skills in data entry and invoice processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle and SAP is preferred
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess a strong work ethic and high level of integrity
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
