This is an ongoing opportunity for a strong Accounts Payable Specialist. As a Full Time Engagement Professional the more diverse your background the better! The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist should have experience with full cycle AP, 3 way matching, Batching invoices, Coding invoices and high volume processing of Payables.
The Accounts Payable Specialist should have knowledge of many aspects of the AP process and duties including expense reporting and vendor set up. For this position you should have experience with reconciling payables to the sub ledger, any experience preparing journal entries is a big plus.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Matching, Batching, Coding, and entering invoices
  • Posting and Reconciling Batches
  • Researching and resolving exceptions
  • Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the General Ledger
  • Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules
  • Utilizing V-Lookups and Pivot Tables in a recent version of Excel.

Requirements:

This Position requires
  • A diverse background and a willingness to learn
  • Technical knowledge and experience working in large accounting packages
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • A willingness to adapt to different environments and situations
  • Proficiency in Account Coding and Accounting Software Systems
  • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and Concur
  • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Experience with Accrual Accounting
  • Skills in Auditing and Automated Clearing House (ACH)
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
