Job Description:

• As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit will provide specialized nursing care for pediatric patients with urological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage MyChart messages, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with Title 19 documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Process medication refills, coordinating with pharmacies and providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Handle phone calls from patients and families, providing education and support as needed.
• Perform minor clinic procedures under the direction of physicians and other healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications:

Licensure:

• Valid RN license in Virginia.

Clinical Skills:

• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in Pediatric Urology.

Technology Proficiency:

• Experience with Epic electronic health records.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
