We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the manufacturing industry, based within 10 minutes of Minneapolis. The role involves the processing of non-union payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding, with a significant requirement for onsite training followed by a potential hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the processing of non-union payroll for a substantial number of employees.
  • Administer employee benefits and ensure they are accurately allocated.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll and benefits.
  • Monitor and take necessary actions on employee accounts.
  • Utilize skills in 'Benefits Payroll', 'Payroll - 101 - 500 Employees', 'Dayforce', 'Ceridian Payroll System'.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Continually review and improve payroll processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Possessing expertise in Benefits Payroll.
  • Proven experience in handling payroll for 101 - 500 employees.
  • Familiarity with the Dayforce software is essential.
  • Proficiency in using the Ceridian Payroll System.
  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to accurately compile and analyze payroll data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding their pay and benefits.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to salaries, wages, and benefits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for payroll processing and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with automated payroll systems and processes.
