External Description:
We are seeking a skilled Analytical Scientist with expertise in the development and characterization of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), mRNA-based therapies, and conjugated antibodies. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in lipid analysis, advanced analytical techniques, and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art laboratory tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical characterization of conjugated and unconjugated Abs, mRNA, mRNA-lipid moieties and lipid-based drug delivery products. Conduct quantitative analysis using advanced instrumentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot HPLC / UPLC systems, including those equipped with Charged Aerosol Detection (HPLC-CAD)
- Utilize Agilent's Open Lab software for data acquisition, processing, and reporting
- Analyze and interpret data to assess quality, purity, and stability of therapeutic formulations
- Perform accurate data integration and recording
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support drug discovery and CMC development programs
- Utilize e-lab notebook to record procedures and upload results
- Summarize and present the data in group meetings
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2-3 years in analytical development with a focus on LNPs, mRNA, or conjugated antibody therapeutics
- PhD preferred, relevant life science discipline
- Proficiency in lipid analysis and characterization techniques
- Hands-on experience with HPLC-CAD and Agilent’s Open Lab software
- Strong expertise in the characterization of LNPs, lipids and antibody conjugates
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to detail and accuracy
