Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Ultrasonographer to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri.

Responsibilities:

The Ultrasonographer assists physicians in making accurate diagnoses by operating diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of various parts of the body.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work location is in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and detail oriented. Experience working with imaging equipment and demonstrate a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.

A graduate from a two-year Radiology Technology program; training and clinical experience in the following areas of ultrasound: abdominal, OBGYN, and vascular required. RDMS and RVT certification required within two years of hire. Eligible for registry with the ARDMS. CPR certification required, available upon hire.
