Job Description

As the VP of Marketing you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and implement annual business and marketing plans to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Establish a long-term vision for the business, including three-year strategic plans, in close collaboration with the Product Development & Innovation teams.
  • Design and execute innovative growth strategies and marketing plans for the product portfolio.
  • Manage the full P&L, including contribution margin accountability.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and management of the marketing budget.
  • Lead the commercialization of innovations by creating launch plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Sales Strategy & Commercial teams.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for the portfolio to identify key issues and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand awareness and maintain a positive company image.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the marketing team, promoting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and performance.
  • Engage regularly with the US Leadership team to shape a robust innovation pipeline and prioritize company growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team, participating in key account reviews to align customer expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction for customers and end consumers.
  • Serve as a storyteller for the company and its mission, training others to effectively communicate the narrative.
  • Leverage insights from consumers and the consumer services team to inform strategy and drive growth.

The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience with strong product/brand management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA required
  • Experience in launching successful innovative products, preferably in Retail and Foodservice channels.
  • Proven success in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • FMCG/CPG marketing experience, including consumer behavior, market trends and competitive landscape strategy.
  • Proven track record of taking full accountability for the oversight and performance of the Marketing department.
  • Experience managing advertising, creative, PR and digital agency relationships, ensuring work aligns with company's marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that drives innovation and achieves business outcomes
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change management and drive transformational initiatives, fostering a culture of adaptability while ensuring seamless transitions through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication.
  • Innovation design and commercialization experience.
