Overview:

Solutions Consultant – Professional Development

FullBloom is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Solutions Consultant – Professional Development Services for our FullBloom K-12 line of business in the public school market. Reporting directly to our Vice President, Enablement & Operations, the successful candidate will serve as the national Professional Development product expert, consulting with school districts and our Directors of School Partnerships to create compelling presentations that generate client buy-in and close business.

Responsibilities include sales enablement and territory planning, internal and external sales presentations, and live software demonstrations

Responsibilities:

  • Product Expertise: Become an internal/external subject matter expert on Professional Development services, addressing product and technical inquiries confidently.
  • Sales Planning and Support: Collaborate with Directors of School Partnerships on discovery calls, demos, and consultations, driving successful deals and implementations. Participate in regular and recurring pipeline and sales meetings to identify and help pursue PD opportunities.
  • Compelling Consultations and Presentations: Position solutions effectively against competition and address client needs through strategic sales presentations (in-person and online webinars), demos, and engaging conference sessions.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Identify favorable markets aligning with funding frameworks, staying updated on professional development services trends, initiatives, and funding opportunities for targeted messaging.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to build growth plans, focusing on promising states, targets, funding, and messaging.
  • Sales Enablement: Build and deliver sales enablement sessions alongside sales, product and marketing teams, as well as keep up with new product launches and educate the sales team.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Provide client feedback to inform product development, support marketing efforts, and assist proposals team with subject matter expertise.
  • Internal Training: Support sales team training on strategy, messaging, and market trends.
  • Content Expertise: Become an expert in PD services offerings and coaching models to demonstrate understanding of services and technology, position services to meet customer needs, and provide content expertise internally and externally
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance through tracking tools and report progress to key internal stakeholders. Utilize Dynamics CRM and PowerBI analytics to support the tracking of leads and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (education field a plus)
  • Experience with K-12 solution and service-based models, specifically selling PD Services
  • A minimum of three years of Sales experience in a goal-oriented environment
  • Deep understanding of K-12/EdTech buying cycles.
  • Professional development services or school/district leadership background preferred.
  • Support and develop relationships with public school leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis
  • Excellent motivational skills and works will with a team but also able to work alone
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques
  • Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail
  • Proven success selling or supporting a sales team in meeting set targets

Physical Requirements:

This is a remote role and will require 30-40% travel.
