The Role
DRINKS Account Executives drive the success of digital channels within wineries and eCommerce brands by enabling wine (in fact, any alcohol) to be sold anywhere online – and for producers to modernize their eCommerce and digital experience through the combination of DRINKS tax and compliance solutions and Shopify.
A proven performer, you can show consecutive quarters of quota attainment. You know Shopify and have demonstrable experience selling e-commerce solutions to brands inside and outside the alcohol space. You’ll be comfortable sourcing sales opportunities and navigating large organizations with multiple stakeholders for the entire sales cycle.

What You’ll do- Win new business with eCommerce leaders from our target ICPs with the DRINKS platform, enabling alcohol to be sold alongside their current offerings. Understand a merchant's business and technology needs to execute a sales motion using a consultative approach.
- Win new business with Wineries, drive their eCommerce transformation with the unified DRINKs and Shopify solution. Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, and demos and develop a solution with first- and third-party offerings that best meet the prospect’s needs.
- Understand the business goals, needs, and pains of prospects, helping them grow their business with DRINKS and Shopify products.
- Use your extensive network, industry knowledge, and advanced research techniques to generate high-quality leads.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience selling e-commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem.
- Proven experience in a closing sales role, with a strong track record of successfully acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated passion for hunting and acquiring new business, with a proven ability to identify and close high-value opportunities.
- Extensive experience with outbound prospecting, cultivating a territory, and building a robust pipeline.
- Extensive experience with sales tools (i.e. Hubspot, Linkedin, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Experience in selling Shopify solutions, digital transformation, and e-commerce to wineries.
- Understanding of the wine and spirits industry and its tax, compliance, and shipping constraints.
- A passion for wine and spirits.
Primary Location Compensation Range: $80,000-$110,000/year + incentive compensation
