JOB INFORMATION:
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Biomed Supervisor to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for managing the daily activities of a repair and fulfillment facility for home medical equipment. Oversees all aspects of repair, procurement, inventory management, picking, packing and shipping.

- Conducts themselves as a role model of professionalism
- Create team building and a collaborative environment throughout facility
- Develops training plans for immediate and long-term performance improvements and growth opportunities
- Identifies employees for promotions or transfers and initiates system status changes
- Maintains and updates all manuals necessary for company operations and establishes process to evaluate company’s compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- Maintains safe operating practices to meet all federal, state and local regulations
- Manages procurement, inventory management, picking, packing and shipping
- Manages to meet all repair and shipping expectations
- Monitors and controls the company assets
- Oversees departmental procedures supporting preventive maintenance, repairs, shipping and inventory tracking for home medical equipment
- Participates in preparation for compliance audits against JCAHO standards
- Provides daily management of direct reports
- Provides various daily, weekly and monthly reports to senior management
- Responsible for hiring, on-boarding training and managing performance of warehouse supervisor and staff
- Streamline procedures for repairing/testing DME or HME
- Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Employment is contingent on- Background investigation (company-wide)
- Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Management experience, required
- College degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- Experience in Home Health Industry, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME), preferred
- One year of related work experience, preferred
- Advanced level skills in Word and Excel Microsoft programs, preferred
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Email transmission and communication
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills
- Internet navigation and research
- Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word and Excel
- Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet
- Utilize internal repair tracking software/deploy new enhancements
- Bend, lift and carry excess of 50lbs
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
- Large warehouse environment, 40,000 square feet, temperature may fluctuate between cold and hot based on the weather
