Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will lead the execution of large-scale data center construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

The Project Manager or Senior PM - Data Centers - Herndon, VA will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning to final handover.
  • Overseeing and coordinating project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and consultants.
  • Ensuring the projects meet all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Monitoring project progress and making data-driven decisions to resolve challenges and avoid delays.
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading project meetings, preparing progress reports, and providing updates to senior leadership.
  • Managing risk and resolving issues that may arise on-site, ensuring smooth project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager or Senior PM - Data Centers - Herndon, VA will have the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor (GC), specifically on large-scale projects such as data centers, life sciences facilities, or hospitals.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $250M+ in the data center sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in MEP systems, preferably with data center, life sciences, or hospital project experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and contractors.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, including managing timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
  • Ability to navigate complex construction projects and solve problems effectively under pressure.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on achieving results.
