Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources using SQL and Excel to support decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
• Assist with system analysis, troubleshooting, and data maintenance within mainframe environments, leveraging COBOL or comparable experience.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Work on improving existing workflows and analytics to optimize task efficiency.
• Support legacy systems while contributing to the modernization of reporting and data infrastructure.
• Adhere to data governance, privacy, and security standards established within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a COBOL / Mainframe environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within the finance, accounting, or similar industries.
• Exposure to or experience with ERP systems and reporting.
• Additional programming experience in other languages (e.g., Python, R) considered a plus.
