SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

This position analyzes data, assists in designing data collection methods, and assists others on program evaluation and reporting requirements to facilitate the Research team’s functions of the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Determines type, scope, and purpose of analyses through discussions with management. Leads research and analysis projects designated by the Research Manager, if needed.
  2. Collaborates with other analysts, advisors and management to complete assigned project work.
  3. Supports other departments and external partners by fulfilling routine and ad hoc data and analysis requests to support research agenda, program evaluation efforts and data-driven decision-making
  4. Deals with complex problems and provides solutions that are innovative and ingenious, achieving quality and work process improvements. Ensures that project goals and activities are in sync with and support the broader goals and objectives of the organization, and that the execution of responsibilities is in accordance to lawful and ethical standards.
  5. Directs and assists in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records, correspondence, and files related to assigned service, activities, and operations; provides for appropriate research and compiles reports, as needed.
  6. Develops, schedules, implements, monitors and evaluates all programs, projects and operations in the area of responsibility.
  7. Researches, compiles data and prepares various statistical, administrative and/or financial reports as required.
  8. Provides data analysis and data collection support (such as survey design, administration and analysis) to Research and Performance Management team.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in the social or behavioral sciences, education, or a related field, plus an additional 3 years related experience, or equivalent, for a total education/experience of 7 years.
Seven (7) years of related job experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Experience developing analysis and handling large data sets and/or experience contributing to program evaluations, qualitative or quantitative research and literature reviews.

Experience translating between English and Spanish preferred.

Degree Equivalency Formula:

Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.

Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience.
