Job Description:

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst professional to be responsible for the preparation of the Company’s filings with the SEC and operation of key financial reporting processes ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.

Reporting to Finance Manager, this senior financial analyst will be a key member of team to support development of best in-class financial reporting. This role will have visibility and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of all SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), including consolidated financial statements, footnotes, management’s discussion and analysis.
  • Provide support and information to external auditors as necessary.
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting directives as developed by managers to update policies and procedures across business lines which will provide long-term benefits for the Company.
  • Coordinate the operation of internal reporting process to meet business requirements and periodic compilation of reports. Including coordination across business units including foreign locations.
  • Perform lease accounting function including preparation of lease classification analyses, review of lease reconciliations, maintaining and ensuring accuracy of data within Visual Lease. Own the Visual Lease reporting function.
  • Prepare quarterly GAAP disclosure and SEC checklists.
  • Assist in special projects including:
  • Implementation of new accounting standards and reporting regulations
  • Purchase Accounting and related disclosures
  • Complete ALL required BEA forms and upload to BEA website
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Large public accounting experience is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding and experience applying U.S. GAAP
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and improve systems and processes
  • Experience working in Workiva a plus
  • Experience working in an ERP or accounting consolidation system a plus
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
