Reporting to the Corporate Controller, youll oversee the day-to-day financial accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, leading the month-end close process, and providing valuable insights into inventory accounting and analysis.Youll also work closely with the CFO to craft compelling financial presentations for the Board of Directors.

What the Accounting Manager Does:
Own the Numbers: Manage everything from journal entries and reconciliations to financial reporting and analysis.Crush the Month-End Close: Ensure timely and accurate close processes, keeping everything running like clockwork.
Be a GAAP Expert: Maintain full compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
Excel Like a Pro: Build pivot tables, macros, and financial models that turn raw data into actionable insights.
Data Analysis Expert with a high attention to detail.
Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory valuations, cost allocations, and reserve analysis across multiple business channels.
Lead & Mentor: Supervise and develop a team of 2 Staff Accountants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Support the CFO & BOD: Assist in preparing financial presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.
Improve Processes: Identify and implement process improvements for better financial controls and efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across operations, FP&A, and supply chain to enhance financial insights.
What the Accounting Manager Brings:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA is a plus but not a deal breaker).4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
Advanced Excel skills you know pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling like the back of your hand.
Hands-on experience with inventory accounting & analysis.
Experience in wholesale, retail, e-commerce, distribution, or warehousing is a huge plus.
A passion for accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial insights clearly.
