Receptionist

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the non-profit industry, based in Modesto, California. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, handling a variety of clerical tasks, as well as managing our multi-line phone system.

• Serve as the first point of contact, managing inbound calls and inquiries
• Ensure smooth communication within the organization by taking and distributing messages accurately and promptly
• Perform clerical duties, including filing and making copies
• Maintain a detail oriented and organized reception area
• Provide general support to visitors and staff members as needed
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in all interactions
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated experience in receptionist duties within a non-profit setting
• Ability to work part-time with flexible hours
• Proficient in performing clerical duties including filing, typing, and managing correspondence
• Experience in handling a multi-line phone system efficiently
• Skilled in answering inquiries in a detail oriented and courteous manner
• Proven capability of managing and answering inbound calls promptly and effectively
