Job Description:

• The Emergency Room (ER) RN will provide professional nursing care in the emergency department, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN must be available for varied shifts and willing to float as necessary. The position requires excellent critical thinking, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with emergency conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient symptoms and conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.

Certifications (Required):

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be current and uploaded at profile submission).
