Assistant Buyer (Omni Temp) – Contract Role A leading retail organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer for a 2-month contract in Costa Mesa, CA. This role requires Advanced merchandising, procurement, and inventory management skills, with a focus on purchase order management, pricing strategies, and sales analysis for retail and eCommerce operations.
Position Details: Location: Costa Mesa, CA Start Date: 01/01/2025 End Date: 02/28/2025 ⏰ Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Pay Rate: $31.52/hr Job Type: Temporary Contract
Requirements (Must-Have): ✅ 2+ years of verifiable experience in chain-store buying or merchandising at the Assistant/Associate level ✅ Advanced analytical skills with expertise in retail math, inventory tracking, and data-driven decision-making ✅ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and retail applications (SAP and BOBJ preferred) ✅ Ability to multi-task, manage purchase orders, and execute pricing strategies in a fast-paced environment ✅ Reliable transportation to and from work
