Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases and provide general care to women.
Job Duties:
This position is responsible for the following:
- Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.
- Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.
- Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointment.
- Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.
- Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed.
- Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.
- Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills.
- Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout patients care.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.
- Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree required.
- Licensed in the state of Georgia as an OB/GYN.
- DEA Certification required.
- Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills in order to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient centered leadership and direction.
- Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but not limited to, patience, sensitivity and the compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, and difficult.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Must demonstrate detailed, effective writing/documentation and verbal skills.
