Sr. Financial Analyst
Hybrid, contract to full-time position available! A Jersey City, NJ based client in the financial services and insurance sector is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Accountant to support their financial reporting group. The Sr. Financial Accountant will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting and be directly involved with supporting monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities, including the preparation of financial statements (including MD& A), financial statement analysis, and select journal entries (accruals and deferrals).
The ideal Sr. Financial Accountant will be highly proficient with US GAAP, Excel, and financial/data analysis. Prior experience in a publicly traded company or supporting external reporting responsibilities is preferred. Knowledge of any variety of common accounting and reporting software platforms is a must.

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. Advanced degree or professional certification such as CFA/CPA is preferred.
