We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in the non-profit sector located in Dayton, Ohio. The selected candidate will be a crucial part of our team, primarily handling client data entry, ensuring patient intake and outtake, and efficiently dealing with phone inquiries, along with other general office duties.

Responsibilities:

• Handle patient intake and outtake procedures efficiently
• Enter client information accurately into the EMR system
• Assist with other general office projects as needed
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
• Uphold HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule while handling patient records
• Use Word and Excel for various administrative tasks
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout all interactions
• Ensure the maintenance of precise records.

• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
• Experience in maintaining records is required to ensure all patient information is up-to-date and accessible.
• Familiarity with word processing software is necessary for drafting and editing documents.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule is essential to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software is required for managing and organizing data.
• Experience in order entry / data entry is necessary to accurately process patient orders and requests.
• Previous customer service experience is essential to provide excellent service to patients and their families.
