JOB TITLE: Marketing Strategist JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Strategist oversees and executes the strategic marketing initiatives of the employee benefits brokerage firm. This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth.
The Marketing Strategist collaborates closely with sales, account management, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with the company's mission and revenue goals. Key Responsibilities-Marketing Strategy Development-Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to promote the firm's services, including our carrier partners, wellness enhancements, and other employee benefits offerings.-Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and client needs.-Define and manage the marketing budget to optimize ROI.-Brand Management-Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.-Develop messaging strategies that communicate the firm's value proposition to target audiences.-Content Creation & Campaigns-Oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, email campaigns, blogs, social media content, and videos.-Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, print advertising, and events.-Digital Marketing-Manage the company's online presence, including website content, SEO, SEM, and social media platforms.-Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, and other KPIs to refine digital strategies.-Lead Generation-Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead generation strategies.-Event Planning & Sponsorships-Coordinate and manage participation in industry events, conferences, and trade shows.-Organize webinars, seminars, and client appreciation events to engage prospects and current clients.-Stakeholder Collaboration-Work closely with internal teams to align marketing strategies with sales and service objectives.-Serve as the primary liaison with external agencies, vendors, and media partners.-Performance Analytics-Track and report on marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.-Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to innovate and improve marketing efforts.

Skills:-Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, HTML).-Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.-Strong project management and organizational abilities.-Creative and analytical mindset with a results-driven approach.-Leadership and Team Management-Creativity and Innovation-Attention to Detail-Client-Focused Approach-Preferred Experience-Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable success.

Qualifications-Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (master's preferred).-Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in marketing roles, preferably within the insurance, employee benefits, or financial services industries.-Background check required
