Responsibilities- Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI) for new and modified aerospace components, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
- Ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory specifications, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace standards.
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformances, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports, ensuring traceability of all inspected products.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including ESD, FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and workplace safety standards.
