Responsibilities:

  • Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and implement improvement strategies.
  • Perform server and security audits, backup procedures, and recovery processes per business continuity strategies.
  • Integrate database, email, print, and backup servers into enterprise systems.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation including configuration, mapping, and service records.
  • Ensure system compatibility across in-house computing environments.
  • Conduct in-depth system tests and end-user reviews for new and modified systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, delivering detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Train end-users on new and updated systems.
  • Research and evaluate software and system products for potential implementation.
  • Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to aid management decision-making.
  • Travel to client sites for system installations and maintenance, ensuring peak functionality.
  • Review and approve machines completed by Help Desk Analysts.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

Experience & Education:

  • Proven experience in software/system design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of systems planning and software management best practices.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze system issues effectively.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong client service orientation with a focus on collaboration.
