HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Your Role:
- Is responsible for the daily oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed staff members in the provision of safe and effective home health care (HHC) services.
- Participates in orientation, clinical documentation reviews, home supervisory visits, class instruction, and care conferences.
- Performs other duties (as assigned).
Reports To:
- RN/Nurse Manager (Functional Title: Clinical Manager).
Supervises:
- Occupational Therapist HHC
- Physical Therapist HHC
- Physical Therapist/Flex
- Speech Therapist HHC
- Registered Nurse (RN)/Clinical Nurse HHC
- Occupational Therapy Assistant HHC
- Physical Therapy Assistant HHC
- HHC Aide
- Social Worker/MSW HHC
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school
Required Experience:
- Two (2) years of home health nursing experience
Preferred Experience:
- Clinical supervisory experience in a home health agency.
- Ability to follow work process flows.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited American Heart Association (AHA) instructor.
- Florida Class “E” driver license.
- NOTE: Incumbent will be operating a personal or TMH vehicle. A valid driver’s license and driving record that meets or exceeds the requirements of the organization’s current vehicle insurance carrier is required. All certificates and licenses must be kept current as a condition of continued employment. Driving privileges are also subject to periodic review and driving record must remain within acceptable insurability standards as a condition of continued employment.
