Accounts Payable Specialist

This role requires the individual to work in their Plainfield office 4 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely up to one day per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and manage all accounts payable transactions
• Validate and reconcile vendor invoices and statements
• Prepare and execute payment orders as per the company’s policies
• Manage weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting to senior management
• Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with vendors
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of standard accounting principles, especially in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel and experience with AP software
• Proficiency in NetSuite is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
